Online Support Groups | How to Build Self Confidence | Self | SHFT

A SHFT Tribe is a coaching based partnership formed by one coach and several individuals coming together to help each other move forward in life. To do so, each individual will be responsible for contributing thoughtful words and personal actions that helps to drive forward movement.

Terms of Coaching: Coaching is a process. Many people create change for themselves in a short time, but to refine and sustain the changes takes several months. Participation in SHFT Tribes cannot guarantee results, but, you will create results for yourself by having the courage to experiment with different approaches to life.

Coaching is not therapy and coaching is in no way meant to take the place of therapy or other physical or mental health services.

If any issues come up for you that should be handled by a licensed therapist or physician, you can suspend participation in your SHFT Tribe. Or, if coaching and therapy can co-exist for you (you can still move forward toward your goals), you can continue to work with your tribe while you also work with other professionals.

Confidentiality: All information shared in group coaching is confidential except in circumstances governed by law, such as child abuse and danger to self or others. All parties agree to take all reasonable measures to ensure confidentiality with any communication faciltated by SHFT Tribes.

Personal Pledge:

I accept full responsibility for myself. I realize that my success depends largely on how I conduct my life, how I think, how I feel and what I do. I am aware that blaming anything or anyone, including myself, won’t benefit my growth and success.

I know I must experiment with different ways of being, doing, having and communicating in order to find ways that suit me best. I know that no one way will work forever so I must experiment, while at all times maintaining my integrity, to find the best ways for me. I realize that trying out new ways will at times feel awkward, artificial, uncomfortable and even frightening at first.

I acknowledge that coaching is not psychotherapy, nor is it supplement for psychotherapy. If any issues come up for me that should be handled by a licensed therapist or physician, I will let my Tribe leader know and seek outside help.
